Antique Chest of Drawers
- An antique marble top chest of drawers, circa early 20th century, inspired by neoclassical or Louis XVI styles. Solid wood structure, possibly mahogany topped with intricate inlay work and veneers with beautiful rich tones. The edges and corners are adorned with finely carved decorative motifs. The top drawer features a floral and foliate inlay pattern in a lighter wood, bordered with detailed beading or gadrooning. The side brackets have classic scroll carvings that enhance the ornate feel.
In total it features 3 spacious and sturdy drawers with clean interiors with high quality dovetail joints.
Condition: Used/good, presents some minor heat damage to the marble as well as some scratches, the middle drawer presents some pealing of the veneer, needs gluing.
