19.ª edição deste conhecidíssimo manual de iniciação à música, que teve para cima de 110 edições até 1954.
Claude Augé (1854 — 1925) foi um pedagogo, editor e lexicógrafo gaulês. O seu casamento com uma sobrinha-neta de Pierre Larousse levou-o ao mundo editorial, onde teve uma grande influência, sobretudo na edição de obras de lexicografia, apanágio da casa Larousse.
Profusamente ilustrado com belíssimas vinhetas ao gosto da
belle époque.
Bom estado geral de conservação. Encadernação editorial; bastante manuseada. Assinatura de posse na folha de rosto. Interior limpo.
Muito raro nas primeiras edições.
