A GERMAN WWII THIRD REICH ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
This is a German WWII Army Heer Anti Partisan Badge. The front shows six snakes on the lower part wrapped around a sword blade with a skull at the base, surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath. It has a wide vertical ‘T’ bar pin back. The badge was awarded to members of the army, Luftwaffe, Ordnungspolizei Order Police, and Waffen-SS for participating in rear-area security operations. Circa 1940s.
