FRENCH FAUVIST LITHOGRAPH LANDSCAPE BY RAOUL DUFY
Raoul Dufy (French, 1877-1953) original black and white lithograph on paper depicting a landscape view and seascape. Signed in pencil lower right. Artist Proof lower left. Stamped, Fine Art Lithograph, on the back. Raoul Dufy, a French Fauvist painter, later Cubist. He developed a colorful, decorative style that became fashionable for designs of ceramics and textiles. He is noted for scenes of open-air social events. He was also a draftsman, printmaker, book illustrator, scenic designer, designer of furniture, and planner of public spaces. Graphic art prints and collectibles.
