FRENCH NAPOLEONIC FLINTLOCK PISTOL AFTER ORIGINAL
A replica of the antique French The First Empire Napoleonic flintlock officers pistol, made circa the early 1800s. The pistol is fitted with a fine hardwood stock, checkered at grip with all brass mounts including a butt cap, trigger guard, and a nose cap. The brass parts are adorned with an engraved foliage motif. The handle features a hand carved mesh ornament. The butt cup is decorated with engraved floral and foliage motifs. Unmarked.
