RAMS HEAD OFFSET LITHOGRAPH AFTER GEORGIA O KEEFFE
Color lithograph on paper. After the 1935 painting titled Rams Head, White Hollycock, and Little Hills by Georgia Totto O Keeffe, 1887 to 1986, an American Modernist artist. The artwork depicts a Surrealist composition with a rams scull against a desert landscape. Print executed before 1980s. Copyright New York Graphic Society. O Keeffe is known as the Mother of American modernism who gained international recognition for her meticulous paintings of natural forms, particularly flowers and desert-inspired landscapes, which were often drawn from and related to places and environments in which she lived.
