RUSSIAN GILT SILVER ENAMEL GEMSTONE BIRD KOVSH
A Russian gilt silver kovsh of a characteristic shape modeled as a bird with an exterior with stylized floral and geometric pan Slavic motifs made using the cloisonne enamel technique in various shades of blue, pink, and yellow. The gemstone burgundy cabochons are set on the top of the head and in place of the eyes. Marked on the bottom with 88 silver proof and manufacturer. Total weight: 210 g.
