RUSSIAN 84 SILVER MILITARY MEDAL WITH IMPERIAL EAGLE
A Russian 84 Silver medal representing a wreath with a double headed Imperial eagle in a crown. Initials of Alexander I on the left wing and of Nicholas II on the right-wing. Dated, 1811 to 1911, in the upper part. Initials MB, Mestnye Voyska, and Local Troops are placed below. Local troops were military formations in Imperial Russia intended to carry out the garrison and guard duty in cities and fortresses, ensuring the internal security of the state. The medal is dedicated to the centenary of their formation. marked with a Russian Standard hallmark, and a makers mark, on the backside. Total weight: 30 grams.
