ANTIQUE CENTRAL ASIAN SILVER QURAN PENDANT CASE
An antique 19th-century Central Asian low-grade silver amulet pendant. Presumably a Boytumar from Western Kasakhstan. Boytumar is a cylindrical amulet inside of which a piece of paper with Quranic text were placed. This lot is a lidded cylinder with polished surface, swirl pattern bands, and multiple fitting loops on the sides. The lid and bottom of the pendant are garnished with cut semiprecious stones. Oriental Decor, Metalwork, Islamic Religious Accessories, Amulets And Talismans.
