Pablo Picasso, Spanish, 1881 to 1973, a limited edition color lithograph on paper, Paul en Arlequin. Collection of the Picasso Museum Paris. Work used for the poster of the 1979 Exhibition. Printed specially on Velin dArches in 5 000 numbered copies by the Editions de la Reunion des Musees Nationaux in Paris for World Treasure Society in Montpelier, Vermont, U.S.A. S.P.A.D.E.M. Vaga New York 1980, printed in France by I.M.L. Paris. Numbered 1628 of 5000, lower left. Framed. Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.
