RUSSIAN SOVIET ERA MIXED MEDIA NEWSPAPER ILLUSTRATION
Ink and whitewash on paper painting. A sketch for the Leningradskaya Pravda magazine, Russia, Soviet era. The piece represents a Vostok spaceship taking off from a filed where an old peasant leads a horse with a plow. Inscription Russian Miracle above. Titled, stamped, illegibly signed by the artist and dated 1985 on the backside. Matted. Collectible Graphic Art, Illustration, Soviet Historical Relics.
