Aretas Captum Coin, Roman Republic : M. Aemilius Scaurus and Pub. Plautius Hypsaeus. 58 BC. AR Denarius. Rome mint Denarius Silver (AR). Weight 3.75 gram, Size 18mm.

Nabatean king Aretas kneeling to right, extending olive-branch (a symbol of reconciliation), camel in exergue, Latin legend "Rex Aretas" in in exergue. / Latin Legend "Captum" or short cut of it on right, Jupiter driving galloping quadriga left, holding reins in left hand and hurling thunderbolt with right.
