Buddy L. Army Combat Car with Cannon Circa 1948
Buddy "L" toys were originally manufactured by the Moline Pressed Steel Company, which was started by Fred A. Lundahl in 1910. (Fred's nickname was Buddy). The company specialised in the production of toy cars, dump trucks, delivery vans, fire engines, construction equipment, and trains, all made from pressed steel which was far more durable than conventional tinplate toys.
