Manjushri Mayajala & Walking Buddha Metal Statues
Small metal (likely mixed metal) statue of the bodhisattva Manjushri in the Mayajala form, which is tied to Buddhism in Nepal & Tibet, India. The hands above Manjushri's head symbolize Mount Meru. There are 6 pairs of hands to represent the Five Tathagatas plus Vajrasattva. Statue weighs 2 lbs. 6 oz. & measures approx. 7" tall, 5" wide, & 3.5" deep. Also included is metal statue of Walking Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) w/ left hand held in the abhaya mudra, right hand holding an alms bowl, & left foot in front of right foot to symbolize the Buddha's movement through life. This style of Buddha statue originated in Thailand. Statue is approx. 11.5" tall. Last item is a Chinese/Asian metal robed figure candleholder missing the top part for the candle. Combined weight of all statues is 5 lbs. 6.5 oz.
