A PAIR OF MORO CANNONS
Of characteristic form, bronze with finely molded muzzles and breaches, prominent cascabels and trunnions. Well-patinated. 18th-19th century. Such cannon were popular throughout the Moro lands and Borneo, where they were used on shipboard, the rails of longhouses and other dwellings, and as part of the dowry.
