Court order to appear before the Beth Din Zedek of the Ashkenazi community, headed by R. Yosef Chaim Zonnenfeld. It is signed and stamped by R. Avraham Chaim Noe in his position as court scribe. 1926.
R. Avrohom Chaim Noe was born in Hebron in 1890. In 1905 he moved with his family to Jerusalem where he was ordained for the rabbinate by R. Yitzchak Yerucham Diskin. He left Israel for Bukhara and was active there, serving as Rabbi in Samarkand. He later returned to Israel but was forced to leave again during World War I, this time for Egypt. At war’s end, he returned to Jerusalem, where he worked as the court scribe of the Beth Din of the Edah HaCharedit. He is famous for his works KeTzot HaShulchan (9 volumes), and Shiurei Torah. He passed away in 1954.
