Fine 1930s Cheever Meaders 3 Gallon Pitcher
Fine 1930s Cheever Meaders (1887-1967) Three Gallon Pitcher. This is a outstanding example in a very hard to find form of a pitcher in this condition with classic Cheever handle with kicked in left top terminal push. Pitchers in southern pottery are very sought after due to vast majority being damaged beyond collectability scale. This one has a rich earthy green alkaline glaze with nice bold runs and is in outstanding condition, only a few rim chips. No cracks or repairs. Fresh example from a White County collection. Standing 12 1/2" Tall
Condition: Condition, only a few rim chips. No cracks or repairs.
