Stunning Steve Abee Face Jug
Stunning Face Jug by the master Catawba Valley potter Stunning Steve Abee. This is a stellar example of form, glaze and matured talent making Steve a master potter in southern folk pottery tradition. This face jug has the traits of the Late master folk potter Burlon Craig who he looked up too. The piece is highly detailed form the form and outstanding double handles and the facial features are outstanding from the eyes that just pop out to the great mouth and detailed teeth. The pictures don't do this justice. One of my favorite pieces of southern folk pottery. A true investment grade collector example that is in mint condition and will be a welcomed addition to any southern folk pottery collection. Standing 12" Tall
