Monumental R.M. Rose Atlanta Jug 1gal When it comes to a R.M. Rose jug this one has everything one could want in a southern advertising jug. From a very clear and strong cobalt stencil to a glaze that we have never seen with such fired perfection. Potted at Howell Mill in Atlanta Ga. by potter CS Kline this example and the lot before. The glaze has fantastic salt coagulation on the top shoulder to the handle and one kiln drip on the front shoulder. The jug is a salt glaze body with strong pinkish hughes one base of the body of the jug and goes all around the jug. Only condition is a chip on the back side of the jug at base. Nothing major epically for the age, it has No cracks or repairs or other chips. This is a strong and top shelf example of R.M. Rose jug and will make a fantastic addition to any southern collection. Stands 10 1/2" Tall
