Fine 1gal Alabama 1850-60's Alkaline Pitcher
Fine One Gallon, Alabama 1850-60's Alkaline Pitcher. This is a rare fantastic example of a alkaline glazed pitcher from Randolph Co. or possibly the newly discovered kiln in Oxford Alabama. This has a great form that shows the time period and the glaze is amazing, with rich earthy forest green medium hughes that fades into light earthier green alkaline with many iron burst that gives great eye appeal. This pitcher is fresh from a west Georgia collection and is in fantastic condition that is basically mint example. Has a minor clay skip when being made in the inside of the rim. Nothing major or distracting. No chips, cracks or repairs. Standing 10 1/4" Tall
Condition: Mint
