Rare CJ Meaders Sr. Quart Jug, Mint
Exceptional Cleater James Meaders Sr. from circa 1915-1920s White Co. Cleveland Ga. This slip glazed example is highly sought after form of a Aladdin style jug. Classic traits of CJ Meaders on the form, fine handle and the beveled bottom with wire cut base. The jug is in gem mint ten condition and was recently picked fresh from a private home in North Georgia. Also this is the second Aladdin style CJ Meaders Cagle Auction has offered and the first in a quart size, very scarce size in any southern pottery. This is a outstanding example to own and will make a fine addition in any Meaders collection. Standing 4 1/2" Tall
