Simply Puffin By Philippa Quick original work created in 2024 Acrylic on canvas Artwork Signed
SHIPS FROM Beverley, United Kingdom Simply Puffin was created after a visit to Mull. He is standing proud, feathers ruffled against the wind. He is simply puffin. ARTIST BIO My name is Philly Quick and I am an artist from Yorkshire, UK.I paint using acrylics and predominantly palette knives.Over the years I have become more aware how the light hits various manmade and natural objects and how quickly shapes and colours can be manipulated by the movement of time and daylight hours. I like to imagine these exaggerated colours bouncing off exterior and interior walls, off landscapes and inanimate objects and I incorporate this idea in my artistic process.I spend a lot of time outdoors with horses and dogs and am able to observe the play between the first and last light and everything inbetween.I paint from feelings and emotions gathering information in my mind of the relationship between colours and light. This can be in abstract form or in pieces that are more realistic.
Condition: Good, as in the images
Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm
