"Gettysburg 1863" Commemorative Percussion Revolver & Accessories, Caliber .45
Serial Number: 32 Design: Here we have a Colt-type (not Colt mfg.) percussion revolver in .45 caliber. A limited edition of 1863 revolvers were produced for and marketed by the U.S. Historical Society of Richmond, VA in 1994. This low serial numbered example comes as near new with its wood presentation case with the two reproduction belt buckles that originally came with the revolver; one is Union and one is CS. Also included is the certificate of authenticity which is signed by historian and firearms writer R. L. Wilson. Though not marked with a maker's name, we believe that these were built in Italy by A. Uberti. Gold lettering on barrel and gold cylinder scene. Complete grouping comes in its original cardboard carton and mailing box. Condition: Excellent. Inventory No./Category: 2820-002
