Antique White Diamonds Quilt Top, Finished 1998 by Caroline Peterson of Atwood, Kansas and Dorothy Vice of Beaver City, Nebraska. It measures 82x79". It is comprised of 8 vertical bars of indigo print and white diamonds, 5" wide. With alternating 5.5" white bars. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. This cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. There is an applied white bias tape binding by machine to front, hand to back. It is in good condition with a few small spots. There is a sleeve for hanging attached to the back along the top of the quilt with the information regarding dates and work done. This quilt can be seen on page 24 of "Vertical Quilts with Style" co-authored by Bobby Aug. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug.
