(1875 - 1959) American Admiral who served as the senior-most United States military officer on active duty during World War II and Chief of Staff to Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman. Signed White House card 'William D. Leahy, Admiral, U.S.N.' Very light impression from a paperclip, 2.5 x 4 inches. Light pencil note on the back, else fine.
