(1919 - 2002) Top American fighter ace (34 1/2 kills) over Europe during World War II and a jet fighter ace with the Air Force in the Korean War. Signed photograph of Gabreski in the cockpit of his P-47 on July 1944 showing the 28 victory markings. Full signature in black ink at the top, 8 x 10 inches.
