WWII CBI 373RD SQD SIGNED ESCAPE MAP AND PILOT'S SCARF (2)
Two scarce relics from the China, Burma, India Theater. Signed silk escape map of Burma from 1942, approx. 29.75 x 21.75 inches. The map is signed by about soldiers who fought in the CBI. With a silk sash, or pilot's scarf, with the Chinese and American flags over the CBI shield. On the other end of the sash is an embroidered symbol of the 373rd Bombardment Squadron, which was active in the CBI Theater from 1942 to 1945. Both ends of the scarf have red, white, and blue fringes. 58 x 6.5 inches. Two pieces.
