US NAVY BLUEJACKETS MANUALS (3)
Lot of three manuals for new 'Bluejackets' or Naval personnel. One is the thirteenth edition, issued in 1946. Two are the fourteenth edition, issued in 1950. U.S. Naval Institute, Annapolis, MD. Previous owners inscriptions in two of the books, 'Francis C. Kramar S.R. 443-85-20' and 'Wesley Skilton VF 79 7229 Bingham St. Phila. Penna'. Approx. 622 pages. 7.75 x 5.25 inches. Minor wear from age. Items are from the estate of Frank and Elizabeth Kramar, United States Navy and Marine Corps veterans. Frank was an Aviation Machinist’s Mate and Elizabeth was an AX Senior Staff. Frank was awarded three bronze stars in 1966 and together they retired with a combined 48+ years of service. They will soon come to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
