PAUL BERTHON QUEEN WILHELMINE PRINT
Lithographed color print by Paul Berthon (1872-1909) 'Her Most Gracious Majesty, Queen Wilhelmine' ('Sa Tres Gracieuse Majeste La Reine Wilhelmine'), 1901, signed in print. Berthon made several prints of European monarchs including King Edward VII, Emperor Wilhelm of Germany, and Emperor Franz-Joseph of Austria. Berthon was contemporary with Alphonse Mucha and his romantic style of art was iconic of the Art Noveau movement. Visible area 15 x 13.5 inches. Framed in wood and glass, 19.5 x 21 inches. Not examined outside of frame.
