First Edition “Megillas Esther” on “Sefer HaMitzvos L’HaRambam;” Venice, 1592
Megillas Esther is a central commentary on Sefer HaMitzvos L’HaRambam, and was published alongside Sefer HaMitzvos L’HaRambam in most later editions.
Many Acharonim attempted to settle the Ramban’s disagreements with the Rambam’s count of the 613 mitzvos. In Megillas Esther, author Rabbi Yitzchak Dilion, supports the Rambam's view and answers the Ramban’s questions on Sefer HaMitzvos L’HaRambam.
This first edition was published in Venice, 1692.
