Exquisite John Townsend 12 Piece Canteen. 6 Knives & 6 Forks - EP with Ivory Handles Almost as New C 1830's
The forks have an impression below the root with pointed tines while the knives have a delicate pattern running along the spines. Definitely for those who appreciate the finer things in life. In very good condition but the canteen has some scuff marks on the varnish.
John Townsend was a Cape of Good Hope Colony silversmith, active between 1824-1841.
