Elijah’s Chair – "Korseya d’Eliahu", Osher Sotil A one-of-a-kind masterpiece of holiness and art, Israel, 2003
For three and a half years, deep thought was invested in every single detail of this chair, with supreme precision and the desire to bring into the world a creation unlike any other.

The chair is made entirely of fine wood, inlaid with rare gemstones, silver, and gold, utilizing advanced carving and inlay techniques, all crafted by hand in traditional methods.

This chair was created with deep and pure intention—to provide the Sandak (the person who holds the baby during the circumcision ceremony) and the newborn with spiritual and physical support, connecting them to divine abundance and lifelong blessing.

This is a unique, irreplaceable creation—the pinnacle of sacred art, a combination of tradition, faith, and luxury at the highest level.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a work of art that embodies holiness, prestige, and uniqueness, found nowhere else in the world.

This chair has been used at Brit Milah (circumcision) ceremonies of the greatest spiritual leaders of Israel, including:
Rabbi David Abuhatzeira, who served as the Sandak at the Brit Milah of the artist Osher Sotil’s son in the yeshiva in Nahariya.
Rabbi Shinberger, head of the Or HaGanuz Yeshiva, when the chair was placed at the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, and he sat upon it.
The Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Shlomo Amar, in Beit Meir.
Additionally, the chair was placed at the Cave of the Patriarchs, where Rabbi Ilan Thor, one of the founders of the Jewish community in Hebron, sat on it.
Rabbi Yosef Schwartz, known as "The Hidden Tzadik" from Netanya and considered one of the thirty-six hidden righteous men, sat on it in the Hadass Synagogue in Nachlaot, Jerusalem.
Osher Sotil is an international artist, designer, and creator, a descendant of three generations of silversmiths and Judaica artists. He creates artistic furniture, wood sculptures, and unique jewelry.

His works have been integrated into boutique hotels, luxury homes, and high-end design spaces. Over the course of his career, he has created for private collectors and collaborated with prominent artists. His Judaica creations are collected worldwide, and his designs are sold in luxury galleries across the USA, Canada, and Switzerland.

Today, Sotil returns to his roots, designing unique luxury pieces that combine fine art with contemporary interior design.
