Roman Empire 54-68 AD Nero ancient AE As coin Janus temple; RIC I 300; AEF/VF
Roman Empire > Nero, 54-68 AD: AE As (27mm, 11.15g), struck circa 65 AD; laureate head facing right & legend around / temple of Janus with door to the right & legend PACE P R VBIQ PARTA IANVM CLVSIT and letters S C on either side of the temple. Reference: RIC I 300; AEF/VF, well struck, obverse centered with full legend, rev slightly off center; dark greenish patina, slight porosity; coin alignment at 45 degree rotation.
