HENDERSON NEVILE: (1882-1942) British diplomat who served as the ambassador of the United Kingdom to Nazi Germany from 1937-39. Henderson counselled Neville Chamberlain to accept the Munich Agreement of September 1938. Book signed, being a hardback edition of Failure of a Mission, First Edition published by Hodder and Stoughton Ltd., London, 1940. Limited edition number 17 of 25, signed and numbered by Henderson to the limitations page. Attractively bound and with gilt stamped titles to the cover and spine and top edge gilt. VG
