PREVERT JACQUES: (1900-1977) French Poet. A very attractive signed and inscribed book with sketch, an oblong 10 x 7 hard cover copy of Lettre des Iles Baladar by Prevert. Signed and inscribed to the front end page `a Christiane, Jacques son ami..´ also dated in his hand `cold summer 1953´. Prevert adds alongside two sketches, one of them being a colourful man wearing a hat and with a red flower in his hand. The 50 pages book containing over twenty full page drawings, is published by Gallimard, 1952. Small overall age wear, mostly to spine. G
