CAMPION JANE: (1954- ) New Zealand film Director and Screenwriter. Academy award winner. Campion was the first female film director to be nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Director. She is also the first woman to win Academy Awards for Best Director and Screenwriter. Attractive signed 10 x 8 colour photograph, the image showing Campion in a head and shoulders profile pose during one of his filming sessions. Signed in bold blue ink `Jane Campion´ to a clear area of the image. Together with GUS VAN SANT (1952- ) American film Director. Widely regarded as one of the most prominent “auteurs” of the New Queer Cinema movement.
