FINI LEONOR: (1907-1996) Argentinian-born Italian surrealist painter, designer and illustrator. A.L.S., Leonor Fini, to two sides of a slim oblong 8vo correspondence card, Rue de Sevigne, Paris, 28th June n.y., to 'Cher Maitre', in French. Fini writes, in full, 'Je vous envoie cette coupure (no longer present) ou la copie des differents elements de mes ''sorcieres'' saute a l'oeil. Je y a la chevelure d'EA, le balai de Melika - les gants ect ect. est ce que le plagiat peut etre deja denonce? Cela en voudrait la peine, ou non? Excusez moi de vous deranger' (Translation: 'I send you this clipping (no longer present) where the copy of the different elements of my ''sorcieres'' jumps to the eye.
