HEFLIN VAN: (1910-1971) American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1942 for his role as Jeff Hartnett in Johnny Eager. A fine vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of the young actor in a head and shoulders pose. The publicity portrait by Talbot of Broadway was issued to promote Heflin's stage appearance in Casey Jones at the Fulton Theatre under the direction of Elia Kazan. Signed by Heflin in bold dark fountain pen ink to a clear area of the background and dated 31st March 1938 in his hand. About EX
