[CARTER HOWARD]: (1874-1939) English archaeologist and Egyptologist who discovered the Tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922. The gift is detailed to the integral leaf as being ´A new and unpublished Roman bronze medallion, bearing on the obverse the busts of the Emperors Marcus Aurelius and Commodus face to face, and on the reverse Hercules holding club and lion´s skin in his left arm, and crowning himself with a wreath held in his right hand´.
