The letter bears to the upper left corner Offenbach´s blind embossed initials "J.O", and states ` Mon cher ami, venez avec moi, même malade, je viens du chemin de fer de Strasbourg - et on me donne un compartiment pour moi tout seul. Donc, vous serez complètement à votre aise, et je vous soignerai. Oui n´est-ce pas - c´est samedi que l´on joue... nous arriverons pour la 1ere´ (Translation: " My dear friend, come with me, even sick, I come from the Strasbourg railway - and I am given a compartment all to myself.
