FRANCE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM: A vintage signed colour 9.5 x 7 paperstock image (evidently neatly removed from a football annual) by twenty-three members of a France national football squad of the 1950s including Just Fontaine (scored the most goals ever in a single edition of the FIFA World Cup, finding the back of the net on thirteen occasions in six matches in 1958), Raymond Kaelbel, Armand Penverne, André Lerond, Jean-Jacques Marcel, René Bliard, Maryan Wisniewski, Yvon Douis, Roger Piantoni, Jean Vincent, Bernard Chiarelli, Robert Jonquet, Robert Mouynet, Francois Remetter, Kazimir Hnatow, Stéphane Bruey etc. The image depicts the players and some coaching staff standing and crocuched in two rows. All have signed in blue inks with their names alone to the image, some with slightly poorer contrast, and a collector has added numbers alongside some of the signatures. Accompanied by a vintage unsigned 4.5 x 3.5 photograph of the team at the time of the 1958 FIFA World Cup held in Sweden. Very slightly neatly trimmed to the edges and with a few minor faults.
