DUBOIS THÉODORE: (1837-1924) French composer and organist associated with the Romantic era. The personal printed oblong 12mo black bordered Visiting Card of Dubois, unsigned, featuring his printed name to the centre, as a Membre de l´Institut, and address at Boulevard Pereire (Paris) to the lower right corner. with eight lines of text in his hand, to the recto and verso, in French, in full, ´ Merci pour le bel article du Menestrel T.S.V.P Serait heureux qu´il vous fut possible de venir entendre la 1ère audition de son quatuor. Je viendrai mercredi, mais tâchez de commencer un peu avant 4h ½, car il faut que je sois Avenue d´Antin à 5h 20´ (Translation: ´ Thank you for the lovely article in Le Menestrel. P.T.O.
