ADER CLEMENT: (1841-1925) French inventor and engineer who is primarily remembered for his pioneering work in aviation, although was also responsible for improving the telephone invented by Alexander Graham Bell and establishing the telephone network in Paris in 1880. Ader was also one of the pioneers in the sport of cycling in France.
