Manuscript, Passover Haggadah with Arabic Serach - Bagdad the 19th Century - Special, Nice Script
The manuscripts contains the Seder Pesach, Passover Haggadah, Song of Songs. Each passage is translated into Judeo-Arabic (Serach), the Hebrew in square letters and the Arabic in Oriental ones. Bagdad, the 19th century.
Nice, orderly scribal writing. Impressive.
At the beginning of the manuscript, an inscription by its writer [please see Hebrew catalog].
After the Haggadah, Song of Songs with the Judeo-Arabic translation, verse by verse.
[45] written leaves and several more empty ones. 14 cm.
Condition: Good. The first three leaves are torn with no damage to text. Stains. Original, worn binding of Bagdad.
