Religious Letter Handwritten and Singed by Rabbi Avraham Chai Senigallia - Modena 1798 - Extremely Rare
A letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Chai Senigallia to Rabbi Shmuel de la Wollsha.
The content of the letter is a Sugiya of the Berachot tractate leaf 21 dealing with the blessing of the Torah and Birkat Ha'Mazon.
At the end of the letter: "his loyal servant … Avraham Chai Semigallia … Moden … the 14th of Sivan 5658 [1798]".
Rabbi Avraham Chai Senigallia, a disciple of his father Rabbi Shlomo Yuda Senigallia and of Rabbi Yishmael Ha'Cohen author of Zera Emet. Was the rabbi of the Jewish community of Modena. Left handwritten halachic rulings and novellae and a commentary on the Mishna titled "Divrei Ha'Yamim".
Written on both sides of the leaf. The second page is only partially written. 19x25 cm.
Condition: Very Good.
Extremely rare! Letters by him have never been seen in auctions!
