AN SIGNED LETTER FROM HENRIETTA SZOLD (December 21, 1860 – February 13, 1945) TO THE EDITOR IN CHIEF OF THE ALTNEULAND DECENNIAL. Szold was an American born Zionist visionary and the founder of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Movement. She was also a cofounder of Ihud, a political party in pre-Israel Palestine dedicated to a bi-national solution. This letter declines an article request to the Editor of the Altneuland Decennial, P.W. Etkus, indicating that her responsibilities at Hadassah make it impossible. 7.7� x 8.5�.
