A SIGNED HANDWRITTEN LETTER BY THE ARTIST CAMILLE PISSARRO (July 10, 1830 - November 13, 1903).Autographed Signed Letter (ALS). Indicating his plans to travel to Paris. Born to Jewish parents, Pissarro was a Danish-French impressionist painter born in St. Thomas. Pissarro is the only artist to have shown his work at all eight Paris Impressionist exhibitions, from 1874 to 1886. He "acted as a father figure not only to the Impressionists" but to all four of the major Post-Impressionists, C?©zanne, Seurat, Gauguin, and Van Gogh. This letter, dated October 6, 1902, indicates his intent to travel to Paris. 7" x 4.2".
