Esther Scroll Case, Silver Filigree – Bezalel Jerusalem, circa 1920
A beautifully crafted Esther scroll case made of silver filigree technique, produced by Bezalel Jerusalem, Palestine, in the 1920s. The case features a central medallion with the inscription "Bezalel Jerusalem" carved into it.
Weight: 180 grams
Height: 30 cm
Opening for Scroll: 11 cm
Condition: Very good (natural signs of wear, with small dents and slight imperfections). A very impressive piece, though the scroll is not included.
This is a rare and elegant item, a wonderful example of Jewish craftsmanship from the early 20th century, reflecting both the artistic heritage of Bezalel and the cultural vibrancy of Jerusalem during that period.
