Imperial Russian solid silver (875 grade) case or holder with niello styled design and detailed engraved Moscow city image showing buildings and a tower (church) surmounted by an eagle, unique latch design, showing hallmarks in multiple locations for assay masters Viktor and Veniamin Vasilyevich Savinsky of Moscow, date mark 1867, makers mark in cyrillic FN. Weight 108 grams. 4 inches W x 2.25 H.
