Certificate printed on silk, on behalf of a South African charity organization. Pretoria, (South Africa), 1906.
Certificate awarded to Mrs. M. Fisher, in appreciation for collecting donations in Pretoria on September 26, 1906, for Jewish-Russian orphans who lost their families during pogroms in Russia.
A greeting in English, in honor of Mrs. Fisher within an illustrated frame. Signed by the chairman and the president of the organization: Rev. M. Rosenberg, J.P. Barry A. Miller. Inscribed on upper part of certificate: “Russian Jewish Massacres, Orphan Fund”.
Fabric: 25X32.5 cm, mounted on cardboard. Good-fair condition. Spotting. Minor damages.
